Meet Dr. Stempihar

Dr. Mark E. Stempihar, Medical Director at Great Lakes Eye Specialists, is a native of the Ironwood area.  Dr. Stempihar attended Wakefield High School, Gogebic Community College and earned his medical degree from Wayne State University.  He performed his residency and training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.  Dr. Stempihar is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.  He has been practicing in Ironwood since 1983.

Meet Dr. Carrington

Dr. Crystal M. Carrington is currently a resident of Ironwood.  She attended Michigan college of Optometry at Ferris State University graduating in May 2003 with her Doctor of Optometry.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1999.  She previously practiced in Duluth, Minnesota prior to joining Great Lakes Eye Specialists.
