Glaucoma

Diabetes

Diabetes is a vision threatening disease.  However, with regular medical attention, vision can usually be preserved.  The physiscians at Great Lakes Eye Specialists use medications and lasers to stabilize the diabetic eye.  If you or a family member have diabetes, be sure to schedule a comprehensive eye examination to protect your vision.

Dry Eyes

Did you know that Dry Eyes are the most commonly experienced eye problem----more common than cataract and glaucoma combined?  If you are experiencing burning, itching, grittiness or intermittent watering, you may be suffering from Dry Eye condition.  If you think you may have Dry Eyes, it's time to make that appointment and quit rubbing those eyes!
